I am a loyal customer of Lundberg organic jasmine
brown rice. I would be very disappointed if this problem
would become an issue with the products I normally
purchase. Companies today especially need to be very
consciousness about the employee’s that are employed
to handle the cleanliness of equipment being used as well
as washing hands with soap and water as many times as
necessary. The health of our society depends on on it.
Please do not take my comments as implying that
Lundberg Farms is not doing their job effectively.
Companies need to be reminded that cleanliness
is at the core of preventing many illnesses.
More detailed information is needed here — what about the rice itself from which the flour was made? Or was it something about the grinding process/conditions that introduced the possibility of salmonella?
We’ve told you all we know!
