Merchant Meats Recalls Snack Sticks and Bratwurst

Merchant Meats and Sausage of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin is recalling 1,915 pounds of snack sticks and bratwurst because they contain nonfat dry milk that is not declared on the label. No illnesses have been reported to date in association with the consumption of these products.

Recall SignageThe products are vacuum-packaged and have the state legend on the label. They were sold in retail stores and through wholesalers in Door County between July 2013 and April 18, 2014. The recalled products are Fajita Chicken Snack Sticks in 1/2 pound packages, Garlic & Pepper Chicken Snack Sticks in 1/2 pound packages, Fajita Bratwurst in 1-1/2 pound packages, Hot Sticks in 1/2 pound packages, and Mild Beef Sticks in 1/2 pound packages.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
