More products have joined the recall of Rancho Feeding Corporation products. That facility processed “diseased and unsound animals” without the benefit of federal inspection, according to the USDA. These products may have been made from meat processed at the Rancho Feeding Corporation facility.
The recalled products are Farmer John Jumbo Meat Wieners in 16 ounce packages, and Farmer John Jumbo Beef Franks in 16 ounce packages. They were sold at the Kroger stores Ralphs, Food4Less, and FoodsCo. At Winco, only the Farmer John Beef Franks sold there are recalled; they have a UPC number of 50500-00051 and best by date of 4/8/14 only.
Winco has also announced that Tillamook Country Smoker jerky products have been recalled. They are “Beef Formed Jerky” packaged 12 per case, in 11 ounce packages. The case code is GR1, and Julian dates are 11353, 21343, 11413, 21413, 11693, 21693, 12983, and 22983. The UPC number is 51943-10179. Also recalled are Tillamook Country Smoker “Teriyaki Formed Jerky” packaged 12 per case, in 11 ounce packages. The case code is HR1, Julian dates are 11413, 21413, 12983, and 22983. The UPC number is 51943-10178.
Winco has also recalled Nestle Hot Pockets Philly Steak and Cheese in 9 ounce packages with UPC number 43695-07107 and 54 ounce packages with UPC number 3095445122. They also recalled Croissant Pockets Philly Steak and Cheese 9 ounce packages with UPC number 43695-05634. In addition, El Monterey Beef Steak/Cheese Taquitos are recalled by Winco, with UPC number 71007403897 in 28 ounce packages. And finally, Winco ground beef 73/27% fat content is recalled. The UPC numbers are 2-01656, 2-01654 and 2-01657, purchased from January 6, 2013 through January 21, 2014 at the California, Medford Oregon, and Las Vegas stores ONLY.
