WAWA Garden Rotini Salad Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

WAWA Garden Rotini Salad rotini-salad-recallfrom Taylor Farms New Jersey, Inc. is being recalled for the undeclared allergens fish, wheat and eggs.  The Swedesboro, NJ had not received reports of illness at the time of the recall but consumers with allergies to these ingredients should not eat the salad as they risk a severe allergic reaction if they do.

The company is recalling 1,510 units of  the product which was packaged in 8 oz. containers and sold in WAWA stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland. The recalled product have  the “sell by” date 11/04/2014 TFNJ 303 1 5:00am found on the top the container.

This recall does not apply to any other WAWA or Taylor Farms products distributed anywhere in the United States. Consumers with allergies who purchased should throw it out and contact WAWA within the next week for a refund.
