My wife purchased the following: Best By Mar-22-2015 23: 14: 10 B with the following 6 40410 51193 4 UFC code. We will not use this product; however, we are concerned if this date have any similar problems. Please advise asap. Thanks.

According to the press release, the product you bought is fine, as far as we know to date. But if you’re concerned or if you are in a high risk group (elderly, health problems, etc.) you might want to just return it to the store. A lot of products made with spinach are being recalled over Listeria concerns and I’m sure more recalls will be issued.

We already ate what we had last week from Costco & just got a call about it possibly being contaminated today.. Our 7 year old daughter even had some! We don’t have the container, we didn’t save it because we didn’t know. We buy this dip all the time tho. It’s a shame that this is happening to our food!! How do we know if it was?? I’m really concerned about this.

Just monitor your family for the symptoms of Listeria food poisoning, which are usually flu-like. The symptoms include fever, stiff neck, muscle aches, and sometimes nausea and/or diarrhea. If you do get sick, see your doctor and tell her that you ate this recalled product. Don’t be too worried about it; just be aware.
