Land O’Frost Recalls Summer Sausage

Land O’Frost of Illinois is recalling 17 pounds of summer sausage for misbranding. The product contains pork that is not declared on the label. No adverse reaction reports have been received to date.

The beef summer sausage was produced on July 25, 2015. The recalled product is 12 ounce packages of “Ambassador Beef Summer Sausage”. It has the establishment number “EST. 500” printed with the lot code on the package. It was shipped to retail locations in Minnesota.

If you purchased this product and cannot or do not eat pork, discard it. You can also return the sausage to the place of purchase for a full refund.
