Natural Grocers Macadamia Nuts Recalled for Salmonella

Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets of Colorado is recalling two lots of Natural Grocers brand Macadamia nuts because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Natural Grocers Macadamia Nuts Salmonella RecallThe recalled items are raw macadamia nuts in 10 ounce packages. They were packed on dates 15-041 and 15-056; those Julian dates are the only recalled dates. The UPC number is 0000080657552. The product was distributed to Natural Grocers’ 96 stores in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

If you purchased this item, do not eat it. Discard in a sealed container or return to the store for credit or refund.
