Sausage Factory Recalls Products for Misbranding

The Sausage Factory in Nevada is recalling about 5,960 pounds of sausage products for misbranding. Although produced under USDA inspection, some packages may not have the USDA mark of inspection.

To see the long list of recalled products, along with case codes, names, batch numbers, and package sizes, visit the USDA web site. The products are all “The Sausage Factory” brand name, and include Bangers, Bockwurst, Knockwurst, Andouille, Pulled Pork, Sweet Italian Rope, Della’s Pork Sausage, Old Fashioned Frank, and Hot Dogs. They should have the establishment number “EST. 6236” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were distributed in California and Nevada.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Return to the place of purchase for a refund.
