White Corn Recalled for Undeclared Sulfites

Phobe Mote brand white corn is being recalled for undeclared sulfites. Consumers with a sensitivity to sulfites should not eat this product as they risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.

PHOEBE MOTE BLANCO WHITE CORN SEMOULE DE MAIS BLANC, PESO NETO in 396.9 g/14oz. sizes sold at retail stores in Elmhurst, NY; Falls Church, VA; Forestville, MA;  Maspeth, NY;  Quebec, CA; Roxbury, MA; Saint Leonard, CA;  Secaucus, NJ;  Silver Springs, MD, Washington D.C. and Westbury, NY.

PHOEBE MOTE PELADO BLANCO PESO NETO in 1530g/ 54oz. sizes sold at retail stores in Elmhurst, NY; Falls Church, VA; Forestville, MA; Secaucus, NJ; Washington DC and Westbury, NY.

PHOEBE MOTE BLANCO PEELED WHITE CORN PESO NETO in 1814g/4lb sizes sold at retail stores in Falls Church, VA;  Forestville, MA; Secaucus, NJ and  Westbury, NY.

PHOEBE MOTE PELADO BLANCO in 50lb. sizes solad at retail stores
in Forestvill, MA; Mississauga, Ontario; Norwalk CT, Quebec, Secaucus NJ, Ontario and Westbury NY.

Consuming 10 milligrams of sulfites per serving can cause severe reactions in some asthmatics including anaphylactic shock.
