Names of Arizona is recalling about 19,200 pounds of chicken products because they contain hydrolyzed soy protein, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Those who are allergic to soy could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received to date.
The recalled items are 20 pound cases containing 5 pound bags of “Carlotta’s Kitchen Chicken Chile Verde” and 20 pound cases containing 5 pound bags of “Carlotta’s Kitchen Sports Chicken,” which is a chili-type entree. They were produced on various dates between September 2, 2015 and March 1, 2016. The recalled items are a fully cooked product. The products have the establishment number of “P-6006” inside the USDA mark of inspection. Both were sold at the company’s restaurants in Nevada and Arizona.
If you have purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
