Friendly Farms Greek Yogurt Recalled for Gluten

The FDA’s Weekly Enforcement Report for the week of January 6, 2016 includes a recall for Friendly Farms Greek Peach Parfait Nonfat Yogurt for undeclared gluten. The product displays a gluten-free logo, but the ingredients state the granola in the product contains wheat flakes. Anyone who is allergic to wheat or has celiac disease could have a serious reaction if they eat this product.

Recall SignsThe yogurt was distributed by ALDI in their stores only in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Maryland, Minnesota, Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, North Carolina, Connecticut, New York, and Michigan. The Friendly Farms Greek Peach Parfait NoFat Yogurt was packed in 5.3 ounce packages. The Batch Numbers and Best By Dates are 6047 and 11/9/2015; 7673 and 11/15/2015; 9708 and 11/23/2015; 1093 and 11/29/2015; 3117 and 12/7/2015; 4476 and 12/13/2015; 5679 and 12/19/2015; 7698 and 12/27/2015; and 9371 and 1/3/2016.

If you purchased these products and have celiac disease or are allergic to wheat, do not eat it. Throw it away or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
