Perfect Fit Meals Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Perfect Fit Meals of Texas is recalling 10,455 pounds of poultry entrees. The products are misbranded and contain undeclared allergens. One of the products, the Turkey Enchilada, may contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to milk or who is lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat this product.

Perfect Fit Chipotle Chicken Sausage RecallThe recalled products include 10.4 ounce sealed tray packages of “Perfect Fit Meals Texas Chicken Ranch Casserole.” It has a use by date of 4/24/2016. This product may contain “Perfect Fit Meals Lemon Pepper Chicken.” This item was produced on March 25, 2016.

The other recalled product is 11 ounce sealed tray packages with a label that says “Perfect Fit Meals Chipotle Chicken Sausage” with a use-by date of 5/2/2016. This tray may contain Perfect Fit Meals Turkey Enchilada that contains milk. This product was produced on March 28, 2016.

Both products have the establishment number “P-827” inside the USDA mark of inspection. You can see pictures of product labels at the USDA web site. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. If you purchased either of these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
