Recall of Frozen Onion Rings for Undeclared Milk Updated

McCain Foods USA is updating their September 23, 2016 recall of frozen onion rings for undeclared milk. Anyone who is allergic to milk, or who is lactose intolerant, who eats these recalled products could have a serious allergic reaction. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Fareway Onion Rings Recall

The updated recall is adding Kroger Brand, 20 ounce Bag of Frozen Breaded Minced Onion Rings to the list. The recalled product has any production date after March 9, 2015 and before July 24, 2015. Also recalled in this update is Fareway Brand 20 ounce Bag of Frozen Breaded Onion Rings with any production date after March 9, 2015 and before June 5, 2015.

The original recall was for frozen onion rings products sold under these brands: Premium Pick 5 Mix and Match Brand/Save-A-Lot, Krasdale Brand, Spartan Brand, and Shur Fine Brand. Please look carefully at the list at the FDA to see if you have any of the recalled products.

If you have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or are lactose intolerant, do not eat these products. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
