The recalled product is Imperial Caviar & Seafood brand Salmon Roe in 50 gram packages. The UPC number is 1 86866 00010 8 and the codes on the product are BB/MA: 23-AUG-2017 LOT: 23616-03. It was sold in Quebec at the retail level.
If you purchased this product, do not eat it. A tiny amount of botulism toxin can cause serious illness and death. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged package or take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.
