Rocky Mountain Apple Pie Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Almonds

Rocky Mountain Pies brand Sea Salt Caramel Apple Pie is being recalled in Canada for undeclared almonds, or tree nuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to tree nuts could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. It is Rocky Mountain Pies Sea Salt Caramel Apple Pie in 737 gram containers. The UPC number is 8 15360 01390 0, and the codes on the product are 2/22/2017, 2/23/2017, 2/24/2017, 2/25/2017, 2/26/2017, 3/29/2017, 3/30/2017, 4/15/2017, and 4/18/2017.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to almonds, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
