Stewart’s Shops Recalls Sportade Fruit Punch for Undeclared Milk

Stewart’s Sport Shops is recalling their Sportade Fruit Punch Isotonic Beverage because it may contain undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. People who are allergic to milk or have lactose intolerance could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. No reactions or illnesses have been reported.

The recalled product is Sportade Fruit Punch in 20 ounce plastic bottles. The UPC number isĀ 0 82086 31006 8. The product has a black label with a red plastic cap. The recalled units have an expiration code date DEC 02 that is on the neck of the bottle. About 1,600 units were distributed in upstate New York and southern Vermont. About half of these products were recovered as of October 26, 2016.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or are lactose intolerant, do not consume it. Throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
