Sugarfina Milk Chocolate Malt Balls Recall for Undeclared Peanuts

sugarfina-malt-ball-recallSugarfina is recalling some Milk Chocolate Malt Balls for undeclared peanuts. Consumers with a peanut allergy or severe sensitivity should not eat this product as they risk severe allergic reaction if they do.

The recall includes 742 units of its Sugerfina Milk Chocolate Malt Balls with the UPC Code 840278113565 and the SKU K1159.  They wee distributed nationwide through internet and retail sales. The product was sold in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MO, MT, NJ, NY, OH, SC, TX, VA, VT, WA, and WI from February 18 2016 through April 9 2016.

The recall was issued after it was discovered that some Sugarfina Peanut Butter Malt Balls had been mixed in with a batch of Sugarfina Milk Chocolate Malt Balls. At the time of the recall, no illnesses had been reported.
