Uncle Bucks and Cabela’s Maple Nut Candy Recalled for Peanuts

Rucker’s Wholesale and Service Company of Illinois is voluntarily recalling all of Uncle Bucks and Cabela’s Maple Nut candies for undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. One allergic reaction has been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

RecallThe recalled product was sold nationwide in Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s stores. It is Uncle Bucks and Cabela’s Classic Candies Maple Nut candy peg bag in a 2.7 ounce clear bag with a paper header card. Both brands have UPC number 7 52545 07101 3. The recall includes all best by codes 010116 through 020117. The recall was initiated by the consumer report of an allergic reaction.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
