Dietz & Watson Mortadella Recalled for Undeclared Allergen

Fratelli Beretta USA is recalling about 468 pounds of mortadella because of misbranding and undeclared allergens The product contains pistachio nuts, or tree nuts, that are not declared on the label. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received to date.

The recalled product is 3 ounce plastic packages containing slices of Deli Thin Dietz & Watson Mortadella with lot number LO23633800 and Best By Date April 2, 2017.  The product has the establishment number EST. 7543B inside the USDA mark of inspection. The product was shipped to a distributor in Pennsylvania and further distributed to retail and distribution centers in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to pistachios, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase fora full refund.
