Le Castor Beer Recalled in Canada and Nora’s Desserts for Undeclared Milk

Le Castor Brewing Company in Canada is recalling Le Castor Oatmeal Stour, Pilsner, and India Session Ale because the bottles are bursting. No injuries have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The recalled products are Le Castor Oatmeal Stout in 660 ml bottles. All codes of that product are recalled. The UPC number on the product is 6 27843 17989 4. Also recalled is Castor Pilsner in 660 ml bottles. All codes of that product are recalled as well. The bottles have the UPC number 8 16514 00039 5. Finally, Le Castor India Session Ale in 660 ml bottles is recalled. The codes on that product are 02/08/2018, 03/08/2018, and 06/08/2018.

If you purchased these products, discard them immediately. You can throw them away in a sealed garbage can, or take them back to the place of purchase for a refund.

Also in Canada, Nora’s Non-Dairy is recalling some of their Dairy-Free Frozen desserts because they may contain undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is lactose intolerant or who is allergic to milk should not consume these products.

The recalled products include Nora’s Mint Chip Dairy-Free Frozen Dessert in 473 ml containers. The codes on the product are 28JN20, 26JL20, and 31AU20 and the UPC number is 6 27843 81417 7. Also recalled is Nora’s Peanut Butter & Chocolate Frozen Dairy Free Dessert, also in 473 ml containers. The codes on that recalled products are 27JL20 and 06SE20. The UPC number is 6 27843 81418 4.

If you purchased those products and can’t eat milk, don’t eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you purchased them for a full refund.
