Red Square Foods is recalling frozen meat and poultry ravioli and blintzes because they contain egg, milk, and/or wheat, which are three of the major food allergens, that are not declared on the label. Anyone who is lactose intolerance, has celiac disease, or or allergic to these ingredients could have a reaction if they eat them. No illnesses or reactions have been reported to date.
These products were produced and packaged form October 6, 2016 through October 24, 2018. They all have the establishment number “EST. 18874” or “P-18874” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail stores in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Some of the recalled products include Bandi Chicken Blintzes, Bandi Pelmeni Chicken, Iceberg Blintzes with Cooked Chicken, Iceberg Home Style Turkey Pelmeni, Red Square Foods Pelmeni, Red Square Foods Russian Brand Chicken Ravioli, Siberian Brand Meat Ravioli, and Red Square Foods Meat Blintzes, among others. The problem was discovered during routine label verification activities.
If you bought any of these items, and can’t eat egg, milk, or wheat, don’t eat them. Check your freezer to see if you have any of these products. If you do, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
The early symptoms of an allergic reaction to food include tingling of the lips, mouth and tongue, hives, itching, and a strange taste in the mouth. Severe symptoms can include difficulty swallowing, shortness of breath, wheezing, and swelling of the lips, tongue, or throat.
