Two products have been recalled for possible foreign material contamination. Olives have been recalled for glass particles, and ice cream and sherbet recalled for metal pieces. No injuries have been reported to date in either case.
The first recall is for H-E-B Ode to Olives sliced salad olives for possible glass pieces. The product is sold in 10 ounce bottles, and has the UPC numberĀ 4122094866. The best by date is November 3, 2019. Customers reported the problem to H-E-B. The store is working with Ode to Olives Sliced Salad Olives manufacturer to make sure safety measures are implemented when they are making this product.
The second recall is for Economax and Hill Country Fare ice creams and Creamy Creations sherbets. This recall affects all H-E-B stores.
Broken metal was founding processing equipment during routine maintenance. These products were distributed to stores in Texas and Mexico. All products relating to this recall have been removed from store shelves.
