The first recall is for Van Oriental Foods of Texas, recalling 10,385 pounds of heat treated but not fully cooked and not shelf stable pork egg rolls, for possible soft plastic contamination. The egg rolls were produced on May 30, 2018. The product has a shelf life of 12 months if frozen and 10 days if refrigerated. The pork sausage was produced on dates from February 23, 2017 to August 3, 2018. The recalled products are individual packages of various weights of “Loukaniko Greek Brand – Made in the U.S.A” pork sausage. The products have the establishment number “EST. 48109” inside the USDA mark of inspection. There is no lot code or expiration date on the products. They were shipped to retail locations in Astoria, New York.
