E.A. Sween is recalling several different types and brand names of premade ready-to-eat sandwiches, including Deli Express and Market Sandwich, for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. These products were made with chicken products that have been recalled for possible contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
These products could have been sold in the continental United States, Hawaii, and Guam through convenience stores and grocery and mass retail outlets. The brand names of the recalled products include Deli Express, Market, Archer Farms, Good to Go, and Kum & Go.
The recalled products are Deli Express Chicken Salad Wedge, Deli Express Tuna Salad Wedge on Wheat, Deli Express Egg Salad Wedge, Market Sandwich Dill Egg Salad, Market Sandwich Ranch Chicken Salad, Market Sandwich Albacore Tuna Salad, Market Sandwich Cranberry/Almond Chicken Salad Mega Wedge, Market Sandwich Everything Bagel, Market Sandwich Smoked Ham & Cheese Sub, Market Sandwich Ranch Chicken Salad Croissant, Market Sandwich Artisan Style White Chicken Salad, and Market Artisan Albacore Tuna Salad on Wheat. Also recalled is Archer Farms Cranberry Almond Chicken Flat, Archer Farms Turkey Havarti Flat, Good to Go Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad Mega, Good to Go Chicken Salad, Good to Go Tuna Salad, and Kum & Go Chicken Salad Wedge. If you purchased any of these products with those specific lot codes, do not eat them. Throw the sandwiches away in a sealed container in a secure garbage can or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund. Wash your hands well with soap and water after handling these products.
