Anyone who is lactose intolerant or who is allergic to milk could have a reaction if they eat these products. No illnesses or reactions have been reported to date in either recall.
The first recall is for Better Made Snack Foods Original Potato Chips, sold in 10 ounce packages. They were distributed nationwide in retail store and also through mail order. The product comes in a yellow flexible pouch bag.
The recalled products have Lot # 62090431442 thru Lot # 62090431520, and 85100431442 thru Lot # 85100431520. The UPC number on the product is 041633063048, and the use by date is 10 AUG 2019.
The problem was that a package of the potato chips dated 10 AUG 2019 did not contain the potato chips but contained Cheddar and Sour Cream Potato Chips which are made with milk. The company thinks that 660 bags are affected.
