American Pure Whey is recalling all lots of 100% Pure Whey Protein Matrix and 100% Pure Whey Protein Isolate because they contain undeclared milk and soy, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients, or is lactose intolerant, could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. No illnesses have been reported to date. These products are safe to consume for anyone who is not allergic to milk and/or soy. The recalled products were manufactured under the American Pure Whey brand in 2 pound, 5 pound, 10 pound, 20 pound, and 50 pound containers. Tower Cafe, doing business as Okarche Bakery, is recalling frozen cookie doughs because they contain undeclared milk, soy, wheat, and yellow #5. These frozen cookie doughs were distributed by the company that is in Oklahoma. There is no word on whether or not any allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products. Kroger Food stores is announcing two recalls. The first is for sauces, and the second is for brownies. The first real is for East-West Classic Sweet & Sour Sauce, 12 FO, and East-West Zesty Orange Sauce, 12 FO - cases only.
