Archer Farms, Fresh Market Cumin Recalled for Undeclared Peanut

B&M, Inc. of Mount Vernon, Mo. is recalling seasoning blends containing ground cumin sold under the brand names Archer Farms and The Fresh Market because they may contain undeclared peanut.  People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The recalled products are sold at Target and The Fresh Market stores. B&M, Inc. was notified by one of their suppliers that one lot of ground cumin and some of the seasonings containing this lot had potentially been contaminated with peanut protein. The products were shipped to retailers from December 1, 2014 through January 7, 2015. Archer Farms Gelato Sold at Target Recalled for Undeclared Allergen

Archer Farms Chocolate Hazelnut Swirl Gelato imported from Italy and sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide is being recalled because it contains traces of peanut protein not declared on the label. Consumers with peanut allergies should not eat this product as they run the risk of allergic reaction if they do. Two allergic reactions had been reported at the time of the recall. Labeling Mishap Prompts Archer Farms Dip Recall

Garden-Fresh Foods Inc. is recalling packages of Archer Farms Smoked Salmon Dip that may contain undeclared allergens, fish and egg. Some of these dips inadvertently may have been filled with Bacon Parmesan Dip containers. The product in question was shipped to distributors in IA, FL and TX and sold in Target stores nationwide. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this product. But people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to fish or egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
