Santana Black Label Beef Jerky Recalled for Lack of Inspection

Santana’s Black Label Gourmet Beef Jerky of Glendale, Ariz. is recalling approximately 295 pounds of beef jerky products for lack of inspection. Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them. The recalled jerky has “BEST BY” dates  of May 25, 2017, June 1, 2017 or June 26, 2017 and includes:  2.8-oz. plastic bag packages of “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Heaven;” 2.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Smokey Robinson;”  2.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Hatcho .357; ” 2.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Santana’s Black Label Beef Jerky Super Mario.” The recalled products are marked with a  false establishment number “EST. 090115” inside the mark of inspection, according to the U.S. … [Read more...]

Oscar’s Hickory House Jerky Recall

Oscar’s Hickory House Inc. of  Warrensburg, N.Y. is recalling approximately 32 pounds of beef jerky product that poses a food poisoning risk. Consumers who have purchased Oscar’s Adirondack Mountain Smokehouse Beef Jerky shouldnot eat it. The recalled product sold in 4-oz and 8 oz. cryovac packages is marked with code 420, the establishment number “EST. 4257” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The product was produced on December 26, 2014 and sold by one retailer in New York. Beef Jerky Recalled For Lack of Inspection

Delicious brand beef jerky is being recalled because it was produced without the benefit of inspection. Consumers who have purchased these products, sold at small retail stores in the Albuquerque,  should not eat them. The recalled products were sold in 2.5 once and 5 ounce plastic bags labeled DELICIOUS BEEF JERKY Lemon Pepper Seasoned Beef Jerky with the  "use-by" date 0911155 and the  “EST. 34408” inside the USDA Mark of Inspection. The problem was discovered by a friend of food inspector purchased the product and the inspector recognized that the product should not bear the mark of inspection. Wyoming Gourmet Beef Jerky Recall

Wyoming Authentic Products of Cody, WY is recalling 365 pounds of beef jerky products because of a "processing deviation," according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The recalled products, sold under the Wyoming Gourmet Beef brand name, were sold at retail stores in Colorado, Utah, Washington and Wyoming and through Internet sales to other states. The recalled products were produced between November 4 and December 18, 2013. They include: 3.5-oz. packages of “ALL NATURAL ANGUS ORIGINAL FLAVOR JERKY” with the case code “05AE30811;” 3.5-oz. packages of “ALL NATURAL ANGUS PEPPERED FLAVOR JERKY” with the case codes “06AE30821” , “05AE31021” , “05AE31711” or “05EIJ32511;” 3.5-oz. packages of “ALL NATURAL ANGUS HONEY FLAVOR JERKY” with the case … [Read more...]
