Canada Recalls Coriander Cumin Powder for Possible Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Shah Brothers Imports are recalling Shabros brand Coriander Cumin Powder because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

The Coriander Cumin Powder is sold in 170 gram plastic packages with Batch #407 on the product, and UPC numberĀ 0 59011 00910 6. It is also sold in 340 gram plastic packages with Batch #407 and UPC numberĀ 0 59011 00898 7. It was sold in Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Ontario.
