Whey Power Recalled for Undeclared Milk, Almond and Soy

NatureMost Laboratories is recalling Vanilla Almond Whey Power because it may contain undeclared milk, almond, and soy; and Strawberry Banana Whey Power because it may contain undeclared milk and soy. Those are some of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, tree nuts, and/or soy could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

NatureMost Whey Power Vanilla Almond has lot numbers 9950/3491, 9950/3636, 9950/3766, 9950/4011, 9950/4374, 9950/5025, 9950/5559. NatureMost Whey Power Strawberry Banana has lot numbers 9954/3793, 9954/4043, 9954/4205, 9954/4861. They are packaged in 3 pound (3000 cc) white plastic jars.

These products were sold in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Texas through retail stores and mail order. The products were sold between 2009 and 2013.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, tree nuts, and/or soy, do not consume them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
