Food Recalls in Canada

There are two food recalls in Canada to report today Waferballs are being recalled because they contain undeclared sesame seeds, and TenTen brand cereal is recalled for undeclared milk. Anyone with allergies to these ingredients could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume these products.

Omega Food Importers Co. Ltd. is recalling Papagena Fine Bakeries Waferballs – Peanut & Coconut in 300 gram packages for undeclared sesame seeds. They are considered a tree nut. The code on the product is 24.09.2014 A and the UPC number is 9 002859 052842. They were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario at the retail level. There is no word on whether any allergic reactions have been reported to date.

TenCereal RecallHung Gay Enterprises is recalling TenTen Ten Cereal 4 in 1 in 600 gram packages. All codes are recalled where milk does not appear on the label. The UPC number is 9 556124 101341.

The product was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and possibly in Saskatchewan and nationally. No reported allergic reactions have been associated with the consumption of this product.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to these ingredients, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
