In Canada, Han Kow Style Noodle Recalled for Peanuts

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Hong Dao Business Development Ltd. are recalling Hankow brand Han Kow Style Noodle because it contains undeclared peanut, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product is Hankow Han Kow Style Noodle – Hubei Flavor. It is sold in 460 gram packages (115 gram x 4 packets) with UPC numberĀ 6 925052 199882. The codes on the product are Best Before 2014922301 and Manufacturing Date 2013092301. The product was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat it. Discard it or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
