In Canada, Product Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Slovenian Chocolate are recalling “Souffle covered by chocolate plombir” because it contains milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses have been reported in connection with this problem.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is sold in 250 gram packages. The package has Cyrillic characters only. The codes on the product are 27.05.14 and 27.01.15(2). The UPC number isĀ 4 600492 217328. The product was sold in Alberta and Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
