In Canada, Products Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Seoul Trading Corporation are recalling Crackers and Peanut Balls for undeclared fish, shellfish, soy, and sulphites. Anyone with an allergy to those foods could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. There is no word on whether or not illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.

Recall SignageAll products have Korean characters on the label. The recalled products include Gosomi Cracker in 339 gram packages. All codes where sulphites are not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 8 801117 268602. Gosomi Cracker in 80 gram containers is also recalled. All codes where sulphites are not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 8 801117 268404.

Korean Peanut Ball in 98 gram containers ir recalled. All codes where squid, crab, soy, and fish are not declared on the label are included. The UPC number is 8 801117 761103. And finally, Korean Peanut Ball in 202 gram containers is recalled. All codes where squid, crab, soy, and fish are not declared on the label are included. The UPC number is 8 801117 761202.

These products were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. If you purchased them and are allergic to soy, fish, sulphites, and/or shellfish, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
