In Canada, Rice Porridge Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Korean Rice Porridge in two varieties because they contain undeclared shellfish, milk, and sesame that are not listed on the label. Those ingredients can cause serious or life-threatening reactions to anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity. No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products include Korean characters only Rice Porridge with Vegetable in 285 gram packages. The UPC number is 8 83298 61801 6 and all codes are recalled where clams, sesame seeds, and milk do not appear on the label. Also recalled are Korean characters only Rice Porridge with Pine Nuts in 285 gram packages. The UPC number is 8 801047 161554 and all codes where sesame seeds do not appear on the label are recalled.

If you are allergic to clams, sesame seeds, and/or milk, do not consume these products. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
