In Canada, Uganda Toast Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Vegetarian Delite Bakery are recalling Uganda Toast for undeclared milk. There is an earlier recall for undeclared milk and wheat in products made by that facility, which included different types of biscuits. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported in association with the consumption of this product.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is Vegetarian Delite Bakery Uganda Toast in 337 gram packages. The UPC number isĀ 0 71248 17300 9, and all best before dates where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The product was sold in British Columbia.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund or discard it.
