Aurora Products Expands Salmonella Recall in Nuts and Trail Mix

Aurora Products is expanding its voluntary nationwide recall of some lots of Natural Walnuts and Trail Mixes Containing Walnuts for Salmonella to include another item and to clarify the name of two other recalled products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Additional private label products recalled that use store branded labeling include Ernest Klein brand products of Walnuts, Raisin Nut Party Mix, Roasted No Salt Mixed Nuts, and Roasted Salt Mixed Nuts.

The recalls that are clarified include Aurora brand Roasted Salt Mixed Nuts Deluxe sold in the bulk aisle with no UPC number and best by dates range of 11/4/15 – 12/13/15; and Roasted No Salt Mixed Nuts Deluxe sold in the bulk aisle with no UPC number and best if used by date code range 11/10/15 – 12/10/15.

If you purchased any of these products, do not eat them. Discard in a sealed container so no people or animals can eat them, or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
