In Canada, Juici Chicken Patty Recalled for E. coli O157:H7

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Juici Patties are recalling Juici Patties brand Jamaican Style unbaked Chicken Patty for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. No confirmed illnesses have been reported to date.

Juici Chicken Patties E. coli RecallThe recalled item is Juicy Patties Unbaked Jamaican Style Patty, Chicken, in 1.6 kilogram packages, 12 per pack. The code on the product is 3184 and the UPC number is 6 24819 30012 2.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Discard in a sealed or double bagged container so other people and animals can’t eat it, or return to the place of purchase for a refund.

E. coli O157:H7 can cause serious illness. The food will not look or smell spoiled. Symptoms of an E. coli infection include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and watery and/or bloody diarrhea. If you do get sick with these symptoms, see your doctor immediately.
