Sara Lee, Thomas’, and Jewel Bagels Recalled for Undeclared Nuts

Bimbo Bakeries is recalling Thomas’, Sara Lee, and Jewel Bagels because they may contain undeclared peanuts and almonds. Anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or tree nuts could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Recall WarningYou can see the long list of recalled products, along with the UPC numbers, best by dates, bakery codes, and states where they were sold at the FDA web site. They were sold in Midwest states. Thomas’ Everything Bagels, Whole Wheat Bagels, Plain Mini Bagels, and Onion Bagels are recalled. Sara Lee Blueberry Bagels, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, and Plain Bagels are recalled. And Jewel Blueberry Bagels, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, onion Bagels, and Plain Bagels are recalled.

If you purchased any of these products with the named UPC number and best by date, and are allergic to peanuts and/or tree nuts, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
