Greencore USA is recalling about 550 pounds of egg salad sandwiches. Yesterday, the company recalled 23 pounds of Quick Café Chef Salads also related to the egg recall.
These sandwiches are made from eggs produced by Michael Foods Inc. that are part of a previous recall. The eggs may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The problem was discovered with Greencore USA was notified by one of its suppliers that the eggs were part of the Michael Foods recall.
