Kettle Brand Recalls Potato Chips for Undeclared Milk

Kettle Brand is recalling a limited run of its potato chips because of potential exposure to milk-based sour cream seasoning, a milk allergen, that is not listed on the label. The recall of 144 cases ia a precaution. The product was distributed to 12 customer warehouses that supply retail stores nationwide. There have been no reports of illness to date.

The recalled item is Kettle Brand Bakes Sea Salt Potato Chips in 4 ounce packages. The UPC number is 84114 10984 2 and the best by date is 01MAY14. The manufacturing code on the product is 09309210, ending with four numbers ranging from 05:00 – 10:30. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to milk, do not eat this product. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
