Khubba Al Nahrain, Inc. of Skokie, Ill. is recalling approximately 665 pounds of Archie’s brand beef products for misbranding and undeclared allergens wheat, soy and milk. Consumers with allergies to these ingredients should not eat these products as they risk serious or life-threatening reaction if they do.
The recalled beef items, produced on various dates from September 11, 2014 to April 29, 2015, have the establishment number “EST. 45103M” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in Illinois and Michigan.
The recalled products are as follows:
-10-lb. packages containing 10 pieces of “ARCHIE’S POTATO CHOPS” with lot numbers “11915, 10615, 07515, 36014, 33514, 28314 or 25314”
10-lb. packages containing 10 pieces of “ARCHIE’S KUBBA HALAB” with lot numbers “25314, 28314 or 33514”
10-lb. packages containing 10 pieces of “ARCHIE’S KRASS” with lot numbers “02615 or 10615”
10-lb. packages containing 10 pieces of “ARCHIE’S KUBBA TAPSI” with lot number “07515”
At the time of the recall there had been no reports of adverse reactions associated with the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
