SP Wholesale Meats of Portland, Ore. is recalling approximately 1,729 pounds of raw pork and chicken sausage products for misbranding and an undeclared allergen, wheat. Consumers with an allergy to wheat should not eat these products as they risk a severe reaction if they do.
The recalled products have the establishment numbers “EST. P-2886” and “EST. 2886” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to restaurants in Oregon and Washington.
The recalled products include:
10-pound boxes with 4 oz. and 2 oz. links of Cascade Farms “Chicken Apple Sausage” with lot number 079.
1-pound packages with 4 oz. links and bulk of Don Felipe’s Tolucan brand “Chorizo Verde” with a lot number 084, 097, 104, 111, 113 or 118.
Don Felipe’s Tolucan brand “Chorizo Rojo” with lot number 104, 111, 113 or 118.
1-pound packages with 4 oz. links and bulk of DON FELIPE’S TOLUCAN BRAND “Chicken Chorizo” with a lot number of 079, 098, 112 or 119.
At the time of the recall, there had been no reports of adverse reactions.
