Sock it to Me Creme Cake Recalled for Undeclared Nuts

Old Home Kitchens is recalling Sock It To Me Crème Cake under “the Bakery baked with pride” label for undeclared pecans. Consumers with nut allergies or severe sensitivities should not eat this cake as they run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they do. No illness had been reported at the time of the recall.

Recall SignageThe recalled products have the production code of 150301100 thru 150310700 ink jet coded on plastic dome. They were sold at Wal-Mart Stores in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Wal-Mart has removed the cake from store shelves.
