Spot’s Stew Sensitive Cat Turkey Kibble Recalled for Mold

Halo, Purely for Pets is voluntarily recalling its Spot’s Stew Sensitive Cat Turkey kibble because of consumer reports of mold in the product. Some pets can eat mold without any adverse side effects, but others can experience digestive issues. If your cat has been ill after eating this product, see your veterinarian.

The recalled product is Spot’s Stew Wholesome Turkey Recipe Sensitive Formula for Cats stamped “Best By 09/04/2016” in 6 pound bags with UPC number 745158350231 and 3 pound bags with UPC number 745158340232.  Halo is telling its retailers to remove the product from their store shelves.

If you purchased this product, do not feed it to your pet. Discard in a sealed or double bagged container so other animals can’t eat it, or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
