Crown Brand Dried Cocoa Herbs Recalled for Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Benjamin Fine Foods are recalling Crown Brand Dried Coco Herbs because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

Recall

The recalled product is Crown brand Dried Coco Herbs in 100 gram containers. The UPC number of the recalled product is 8 98989 77813 9, and the code on the product is exp: 22-09-2016. It was sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased this product, do not use it. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged container so other people and animals can’t get at it, or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund. Wash your hands well with soap and water after handling the product.
