Heinz Gravy Recalled for Undeclared Milk and Soy

Heinz HomeStyle Bistro Au Jus Gravy is being recalled because some of the jars are mislabeled as Heinz Pork Gravy and do not contain warnings about milk and soy in the product on the label. About 500 cases are being recalled. Anyone who is allergic to milk and/or soy or who is lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reports of illness have been received to date.

The problem is primarily for retailers, since some of the jars in a case are mislabeled. For consumers, the recalled product is Heinz HomeStyle Gravy Pork in individual 12 ounce glass jars. The best by date is 12/28/2017 and the code is MU6F04 4Q XX-XX. The UPC number is 013000798907. It was distributed nationwide. No other sizes, varieties, or code dates of Heinz Gravy are included in this recall.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to soy and/or milk or are lactose intolerant, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
