Blondie Cookies Recalled by Fairway “Like No Other Market”

Fairway blondies cookie recallFairway ‘‘Like No Other Market’’®, a grocery chain headquartered in New York, New York, has recalled its “FAIRWAY BRAND COOKIES BLONDIE.” According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, these blondie cookies may contain walnuts which were not declared on the product labeling.

The cookies affected by the recall were distributed to Fairway stores in the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. They were also sent to customers through the home delivery programs at Google, Fairway E-commerce, and Instacart. The cookies were packaged in 10-ounce octagonal plastic containers stamped with the item codes 268492 XXXXXX or 263413 XXXXXX.

Ingesting walnuts can be life-threatening to those who are allergic to tree nuts. The Fairway blondies cookies should be thrown away or returned to their place of purchase for a full refund.
