Creole Tomato Dressing Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Cousins Products of Madisonville, Louisiana is recalling Creole Tomato Dressing because it may contain undeclared milk. Anyone who is lactose intolerant or who is allergic to milk could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recall was initiated after a consumer complaint. A jar labeled as Creole Tomato Dressing actually contained Blue Cheese Dressing.

The recalled product sis Creole Tomato Dressing in 16 ounce glass jars with metal lids. The best by date on the product is 5/18/17, the UPC number is 5027800100, and the jar/case lot number is 0001118. The product was sold at the retail level in southeastern Louisiana. It is sold in the refrigerated case in supermarkets.

If you purchased this product and cannot eat milk, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you purchased it for a refund.
