The recalled product is Monster Energy Caffe Monster Salted Caramel Energy Drink in 405 ml containers. The codes on the product are Best Before JA2120 BF A, JA2120 BF B, JA2220 BF A, and JA2220 BF B. The UPC number on the product is 0 70847 03184 0.
The recall was triggered by the company. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is conducting a food safety investigation. More high risk products may be recalled due to this investigation. The CFIA is making sure that industry is removing this product from the marketplace.
If you have this product in your home, do not drink it. Throw it away in a wrapped package in a secure garbage can so other people can’t get at it. You can also take the product back to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
